1. Introduction

Smbat Siradeghyan ("we", "us", or "our") built Viktoriia Panova — Psychology Practice ("the App") as a personal finance tracking application. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Polish data protection law, and Google Play requirements.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Data You Enter (Stored Locally Only)

Financial data you enter into the App — such as transactions, spending categories, and amounts — is stored exclusively on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to this data.

2.2 Data Collected Automatically

The App uses the following third-party SDKs that may collect data automatically:

Firebase Analytics (Google LLC)

Usage data: screens visited, features used, session duration
Device information: device model, OS version, app version
Approximate location (country/region level, derived from IP address)
Crash reports and performance diagnostics

Firebase Analytics data is anonymized and used solely to improve the App. Google's Privacy Policy applies: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Google AdMob (Google LLC)

Advertising ID (GAID) to serve personalized or non-personalized ads
Device identifiers and IP address (used by Google's ad infrastructure)
Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

AdMob may use this data to show you relevant ads. Google's Ads Privacy Policy applies: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

We process data on the following legal grounds under Article 6 GDPR:

Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — improving App stability and performance via Firebase Analytics
Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — for personalized advertising via AdMob, where required by applicable law

You may withdraw consent for personalized ads at any time via your device's advertising settings (see Section 7).

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Data collected by Firebase and AdMob is shared with Google LLC under their respective terms. We do not share your data with any other third parties.

5. Data Retention

Local financial data: stored on your device until you delete the App
Firebase Analytics data: retained per Google's standard retention policy (up to 14 months)
AdMob data: retained per Google's advertising data policies

6. International Data Transfers

Data collected by Firebase and AdMob may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries. Google LLC complies with the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure adequate data protection.

7. Your Rights Under GDPR

As an EU/EEA resident, you have the following rights:

Right of access — request a copy of your personal data
Right to rectification — correct inaccurate data
Right to erasure — request deletion of your data
Right to restriction — limit how your data is processed
Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured format
Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests
Right to withdraw consent — for personalized ads at any time

8. Opting Out of Personalized Ads

You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time:

Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID or opt out of ads personalization
Alternatively, use the Google Ads Settings page: adssettings.google.com

Even after opting out, you may still see non-personalized ads.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Data Security

Your financial data stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. For data processed by Firebase and AdMob, Google employs industry-standard security measures. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and notify you through the App for material changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
